Season's Greeting Cards
During my Internship, I was given the task to design different concepts of e-greeting cards. There were vast changes and amendments over the period of 4 months in my Internship in IRAS and there were different designs and concepts being shown to be illustrated out.
In the creation of e-greeting cards below, Photoshop was being used vastly. There were vast changes and amendments over the period of 4 months in my Internship in IRAS and there were different designs and concepts being shown to illustrate out the different concepts of the e-greeting cards.
For the 1st e-greeting card, It was a concept of a Christmas tree where it holds the decorations of the different achievements that IRAS had gained over the years as well as the words on the outline of the tree. The 2 people holding the tree represent the stem and also establishing the idea of the unity of teamwork in IRAS in order to gain the achievements over the 20 years in IRAS.

After consultation with my supervisor, there were several amendments and ‘playing’ around on the elements and decorations on the tree to see the different effect and feel of the e-greeting card. Below one of the many attempts to see the different visualization of it.
After various amendments and improvements from the supervisor's comments and opinion, this is somewhat the finalized concept of the Christmas tree of the e-greeting card.
The second concept of the e-greeting card was the bell that is widely used in Christmas decorations. Colours were played around to find that warmth and festive feel for the look of the design.
Another concept was to portray IRAS building from sketch to real life. This is somehow to represent the years of what IRAS had went through in order to become what it is today, as the thanksgiving to the public was shown by saying "Thank you for your contributions towards nation building" and with the flash out effect on the logo itself.
Another concept was to showcase how far Singapore has gone from the past to the present by overlapping the images on each other. A slight touch to add on to the Christmas feel was to enhance it with snow effect for its Christmas e-greeting card.
